Paul Hendy attended a meeting with the British Red Cross in London on Thursday 13 January. In the evening Paul Hendy was again on hand in Scotland to help communities at risk from flooding – he attended a meeting of the Moffat Flood Group at 7pm.

The Scottish Flood Forum on Monday 8th November had meeting with the Moffat Community Flood Group during the morning. The Scottish Flood Forum have today been supporting a number of communities from the office and compiling information to further support its activities in supporting comminities affected or ‘at risk’ from flooding in and around Scotland. Paul Hendy will be attending a meeting of the SAIFF (Scottish Advisory and Implementation Forum for Flooding) national communications group on Monday 01 November in Stirling. In the evening Paul Hendy will attend a meeting of the Moffat Community Flood Group.

The Scottish Flood Forum will be attending an all day flood flood recovery workshop with Falkirk Council and other representatives on Thursday 30 September. On Friday 10 September the Scottish Flood Forum met with Bob Oprey, chairman of the Moffat Community Flood Group and also conducted some flood protection visits in Eskdalemuir and Burnock Water.

On Thursday 09 September the Scottish Flood Forum were in Dumfries & Galloway conducting flood protection visits. Paul Hendy visited Lochmaben & Dumfries and provided support to members of the community there. During the evening Paul Hendy attended a meeting of the Moffat Community Flood Group in Moffat.
